The research programme of the Centre for Education and Learning focuses on online learning. This broad topic is approached from three angles: (i) the design of the learning environment, (ii) the characteristics of the teacher and (iii) the characteristics of the student. Daniel Davis is working in Delft on the first subdomain and Tim van der Zee researchers the role of the teacher in Leiden. CEL is now looking for their colleague who wil focus on the student perspective in online learning.
