It’s time for a new Minecraft Campus update!
Inspired by the initiative of ErasmusX at Erasmus University Rotterdam, we started building the TU Delft Campus in early June together with the Teaching and Learning Services. Since then, our builders have been hard at work to recreate the Campus in Minecraft and are still constantly adding new features (if you haven't yet, be sure to check out our trailer here: https://youtu.be/oxulufxg2D0).
In August, we opened the Virtual Campus during the OWEE to allow students and others to get a first impression. Foreseeing that our remote adventure on the Campus will continue these coming months, our Minecraft crew continues to expand the Campus with new ideas and content. Activities and services normally offered in real-life are being recreated in our virtual world, allowing more people to experience these.
As a first step, the team has been working on transporting the TU Delft Campus Tour to the Minecraft Campus so you can explore and learn about the Campus (and its history) from the comfort and safety of your own home! Sometime soon, you will be able to find our virtual Tour Guides on the Minecraft Campus, ready to offer you a special, out-of-this-world (but not quite) experience!
